Details of the Job/Internship
Centrum Legal is hiring an Associate with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience and a Company Secretary qualification.
Role and Responsibilities
- Corporate Legal Advisory: Drafting and vetting of commercial contracts/agreements, joint venture agreements, lease deeds, M&A, business restructuring, and transactional legal advisory services.
- Legal Due Diligence and Compliance Management: Assisting in legal due diligence and ensuring compliance with corporate laws, FEMA regulations, and timely regulatory filings.
- Regulatory Filings and Approvals: Managing filings with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), RBI, SEZ, and environment law authorities.
- Assignment Updates: Maintaining updates on ongoing cases/transactions.
- Cross-border Transactions: Assisting in setting up subsidiaries/joint venture companies in India and related matters.
- Research and Knowledge Update: Staying informed and preparing write-ups on changes in corporate laws and industry trends
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized university and enrolment with the Bar Council.
- Company Secretary qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in corporate legal services.
- Research skills (knowledge of legal libraries/resources/IT platforms).
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
- Attention to detail.
- Positive attitude.
