Details of the Job/Internship

The Chambers of Amit Karkhanis is hiring an Associate to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Making court appearances and representing clients.
• Conducting client consultations and providing legal advice.
• Preparing cases and managing legal documentation.
• Collaborating with senior legal professionals on medico-legal, healthcare, surrogacy, and IP matters.
• Handling legal cases in line with the chamber’s areas of specialization.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) is mandatory.
• Strong skills in legal research, drafting, and review of legal documents.
• Courtroom, case preparation, and client management skills.
• Fluency in legal writing and communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
• Prior experience or strong interest in medico-legal, healthcare, surrogacy, or IP law is preferred.
• A Master’s degree in Law or specialization in healthcare or intellectual property is an advantage.

Salary/Stipend
