Details of the Job/Internship
Chandhiok & Mahajan is hiring an Associate with experience of 1–4 years to join their office in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal due diligence for corporate transactions. * Draft and negotiate various transaction documents, including share purchase and shareholders' agreements.
- Advise on matters related to the Companies Act and FEMA regulations. * Manage corporate transactions end-to-end under the supervision of senior partners.
- Ensure all transaction structures align with current regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to facilitate the smooth closing of deals.
Eligibility
- 1–4 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in a dedicated corporate transaction practice.
- Sound working knowledge of the Companies Act and FEMA regulations.
- Demonstrated history of drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents.
- Proven ability to handle legal due diligence processes independently.
