Details of the Job/Internship
Cygnus Legal is hiring an Associate to join its full-time, on-site team in Mumbai. The role involves managing and executing legal work including drafting and reviewing documents, providing strategic legal advice, handling negotiations, representing clients, conducting legal research, managing client relationships, supervising junior associates, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and review legal documents and contracts.
- Provide strategic legal counsel and handle negotiations.
- Represent clients in various legal matters.
- Conduct legal research and legal analysis.
- Manage client relationships and communications.
- Oversee and mentor junior associates.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulatory requirements.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or equivalent.
- Advanced degree (LLM) is an added advantage.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong drafting, reviewing, research, and analytical skills.
- Experience in corporate matters, financial transactions, dispute resolution, and real estate transactions.
- Ability to manage client relationships and mentor junior associates.
