Details of the Job/Internship

Economic Laws Practice (ELP) is hiring an Associate with 2–4 years of experience to join their Indirect Tax Litigation/Advisory team in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle engagements related to Indirect Tax Laws, including drafting replies, appeals, writ petitions, and briefing counsels.
• Provide tax advisory and consulting services.
• Research and develop a theoretical understanding of applicable laws.
• Disseminate updates on the latest trends within the team.

Eligibility

• CA or CA/LLB qualification.
• Minimum 2 to 4 years of work experience in tax litigation.
• Strong analytical and research skills in Indirect Tax/GST.
• Knowledge of case laws and legal frameworks.
• Proficiency in English with excellent drafting skills.
• Basic understanding of regulatory updates and their client impact.
