Details of the Job/Internship

Economic Laws Practice is hiring an Associate with experience of 2–6 years to join their Indirect Tax Litigation / Advisory team in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Handle engagements related to Indirect Tax Laws including drafting replies, appeals, writ petitions, and briefing counsels.
• Provide tax advisory and consulting services.
• Create and disseminate updates on regulatory trends.
• Develop theoretical understanding of laws through research.
• Ensure adherence to process and quality standards.
• Communicate assertively and provide innovative, legally and commercially viable client solutions.

Eligibility

• CA / LLB.
• Minimum of 2–6 years of work experience in tax litigation.
• Extensive knowledge of GST laws with core experience in GST advisory and litigation matters.
• Strong drafting skills and good command over English.
• Good analytical and research skills related to Indirect Tax/GST.
