Details of the Job/Internship
Eshwars, Advocates is hiring an Associate with 2–3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) for their Real Estate Practice in Chennai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct exhaustive title due diligence and prepare comprehensive title search reports.
- Draft and review specialized real estate documents, including Joint Development Agreements (JDAs), Sale Deeds, Lease Deeds, and Powers of Attorney (POAs).
- Advise clients on the legal structuring of land acquisitions and complex property transactions.
- Ensure strict compliance with local land laws, building regulations, and RERA requirements.
- Coordinate directly with clients and represent the firm's interests before local authorities.
- Manage the end-to-end documentation for property registrations and legal clearances.
- Identify potential legal risks in land titles and recommend practical mitigation strategies.
- Maintain organized case files and research memos for ongoing real estate mandates.
Eligibility
- Law degree (LL.B.) from a recognized university.
- 2–3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) specifically in real estate law.
- Mandatory: High proficiency in both English and Tamil for effective local coordination and drafting.
- Proven experience in title verification and drafting complex property agreements.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for direct client interaction and liaison with authorities.
