Details of the Job/Internship
EZY LAWS is hiring a Senior Associate – Litigation with a minimum of 3 years’ post-qualification experience to join its office in BKC, Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and file company petitions, oppression and mismanagement applications, and merger or demerger schemes.
- Represent clients in corporate disputes, shareholder disputes, and company law violations.
- Handle petitions under Sections 7, 9, and 10 of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code.
- Appear before NCLT for hearings, arguments, and procedural compliances.
- Coordinate with Insolvency Resolution Professionals, liquidators, Committee of Creditors, and corporate debtors.
- Handle writ petitions related to corporate and commercial issues.
- File and manage appeals against NCLT and NCLAT orders before the High Court, where permitted.
- Manage commercial suits, arbitration petitions, and company appeals.
- Draft petitions, applications, stay applications, and replies for High Court matters.
- Conduct legal research on case laws, precedents, and statutes to support litigation strategy.
Eligibility
- Law graduate with Company Secretary qualification.
- Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in litigation.
- Experience in NCLT, IBC, and High Court matters.
- Strong analytical, drafting, and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and perform under pressure.
- High standards of integrity, accuracy, and professionalism.
