Details of the Job/Internship
Fox Mandal & Associates is hiring an Associate – General Corporate with 0–3 years of experience to join their office in Hyderabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle corporate transactions including structuring, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating term sheets and definitive agreements such as Share Subscription Agreements, Share Purchase Agreements, Shareholders' Agreements, Co-Founders' Agreements, Escrow Agreements, ESOP Policies, and advisory documents.
- Conduct legal and compliance due diligence on targets, prepare reports, and assist with closing formalities.
- Provide regulatory and compliance advice under Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI, NBFC, and investment advisory matters.
- Draft legal opinions, memos, and conduct research on laws, regulations, and developments.
- Support business development activities, internal process improvements, and represent the firm at conferences and seminars.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on compliance, policy, product, and regulatory issues.
Eligibility
- LLB/LLM from a reputed institution.
- 0–3 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a law firm.
- Strong knowledge of Companies Act, Contract Act, FEMA, SEBI, and NBFC regulations.
- Good drafting, research, and communication skills.
