Details of the Job/Internship

FTI Consulting is hiring an Associate, Consumer Finance India Practice with 1–3 years of experience to join its Forensic and Litigation Consulting team in Mumbai. The role involves working on client engagements under senior supervision, analysing customer transaction and compliance data, supporting litigation and regulatory compliance matters, assisting in report preparation, and developing knowledge of U.S. consumer financial services compliance. The position requires daily attendance at the Mumbai office in Andheri and availability for evening or night shifts as required.

Role and Responsibilities

• Analysing and interpreting customer transaction histories and financial data.
• Reviewing and assessing customer transaction and compliance data under project leadership.
• Documenting assumptions, methodologies, and information sources.
• Assisting in the preparation of client reports and presentations.
• Working closely with senior team members on client engagements.
• Participating in client meetings and discussions.
• Supporting compliance, litigation, fraud, and remediation-related engagements.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, business, law, or a related field.
• One to three years of experience in financial services consulting, compliance, financial investigations, or litigation support.
• Experience working with U.S. banks or international clients.
• Strong English communication and writing skills.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in deadline-driven environments.
• Willingness to attend early or late global and regional meetings.
• Availability to work evening and night shifts.

Salary/Stipend
