Details of the Job/Internship
Hirani & Associates is hiring an Associate / Senior Associate with 3–7 years PQE in Media & Entertainment law.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise clients on music licensing, publishing, rights exploitation, content creation, and distribution.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements including artist/composer/lyricist/producer/label deals, music licensing & publishing contracts, content commissioning & IP assignments, and production agreements.
- Manage client relationships and support deals throughout their lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams on legal and business matters.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in media, music, copyright, and IP law.
Eligibility
- 3–7 years PQE in Media & Entertainment law.
- Hands-on experience in music law, including deals, licensing, and publishing.
- Strong understanding of copyright, intellectual property, and related legal frameworks.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills.
- Self-starter mindset capable of handling transactions independently.
