Details of the Job/Internship

HSBC is hiring an Associate with experience of minimum 4 years to join their office in Gurugram. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team specialized in ISV products, including escrow, account bank, and remittance transactions.
• Extensively review and negotiate documentation for new transactions and post-closing matters, including amendments and enforcement.
• Coordinate with internal and external counsel, senior business managers, arrangers, and lenders.
• Partner with Business Development and Client Services teams to ensure smooth service delivery and identify product expansion areas.
• Perform analysis of transaction structures from both a legal and operational perspective.
• Develop administrative procedures to ensure compliance with Group policies and identify problematic areas before signing.
• Maintain internal control standards and strictly observe the Group Compliance Policy.

Eligibility

• LLB graduate from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant post-qualification experience at a law firm or in an in-house role.
• Strong ability to work independently on complex deals and escalate issues for resolution where appropriate.
• Proficiency in analyzing legal risks and transaction structures.
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills to interface with diverse stakeholders.
