Arnold & Porter is hiring an Associate to join their office in Washington.

Role and Responsibilities

Representing clients in international arbitrations under the rules of the major arbitral institutions (e.g., the ICC or ICSID), as well as experience participating in international investment and commercial arbitrations arising out of Latin America; drafting pleadings, assisting with hearings, interviewing witnesses, as well as reviewing civil law sources.

Eligibility

• Qualified applicants for this position must have experience in the following: representing clients in international arbitrations under the rules of the major arbitral institutions (e.g., the ICC or ICSID), as well as experience participating in international investment and commercial arbitrations arising out of Latin America; drafting pleadings, assisting with hearings, interviewing witnesses, as well as reviewing civil law sources.
• Finally, all applicants should have excellent academic credentials and references.
• Applicants must currently be licensed, or currently be eligible to become licensed, to practice law in the jurisdiction in which they are applying.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
