Details of the Job/Internship
JSA is hiring an Associate with experience of 4–5 years to join their office in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle court matters independently and represent the firm's clients effectively.
- Draft comprehensive pleadings, submissions, and other legal documentation for various judicial forums.
- Conduct in-depth legal research to support complex litigation cases and opinions.
- Appear before courts and tribunals as required for hearings and proceedings.
- Assist senior members of the team in developing and executing effective litigation strategies.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless case management.
- Manage case timelines and ensure all filings are completed within statutory deadlines.
Eligibility
- Formal legal qualification (LLB/LLM) from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 4 to 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) specifically in litigation.
- Demonstrated experience in handling court matters and drafting diverse legal pleadings.
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders in a professional capacity.
- Based in or willing to relocate to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region for an on-site role.
