Details of the Job/Internship
Kaizen Law is hiring for the position of Associate to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and prepare well-structured legal opinions, notes, and reports.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of transactional and corporate agreements.
- Advise clients on M&A, PE/VC transactions, financial investments, corporate law, employment law, and technology law.
- Represent clients in negotiations and liaise with external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with partners and team members to manage client mandates effectively.
- Stay updated on new legal and regulatory developments and contribute to the firm’s internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and assist in managing due diligence exercises.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a recognized institution and enrollment with the Bar Council of India.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in M&A, PE/VC transactions, corporate law, or financial investments.
- Strong legal drafting, research, and advisory skills.
- Excellent negotiation and client representation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple mandates, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exposure to employment law and technology law will be an added advantage.
