Details of the Job/Internship
Kaizen Law is seeking a full-time, on-site Associate to join its Gurugram office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed legal research and analysis across corporate, technology, and employment law.
- Draft, review, and finalize sophisticated legal documentation for M&A and venture capital transactions.
- Manage end-to-end due diligence processes for financial investments and securities offerings.
- Liaise directly with clients to understand their strategic interests and provide actionable legal advice.
- Represent clients in negotiations to safeguard their commercial and legal positions.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure high-quality service delivery under tight deadlines.
- Stay updated on evolving regulations in private equity and financial investment sectors.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution; a top academic rank is considered a significant advantage.
- Basic understanding of corporate law, M&A, private equity, and venture capital.
- Strong legal research, drafting, and documentation skills.
- Prior experience in a similar corporate role or handling M&A matters is preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and client management skills.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Gurugram.
