Details of the Job/Internship
Karya Associates is hiring for the position of Associate to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Appear before courts, tribunals, and other legal forums for hearings and client representation.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and case law analysis.
- Draft pleadings, legal notices, contracts, agreements, and other legal documentation.
- Assist senior lawyers in litigation, arbitration, and transactional matters.
- Support client interactions and advisory work on regulatory and compliance issues.
- Maintain case files, manage documentation, and coordinate with relevant authorities.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution.
- Prior experience in a law firm or legal environment (internship or full-time).
- Strong legal research, drafting, and document review skills.
- Sound understanding of litigation procedures and corporate laws.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and work independently under guidance.
