Details of the Job/Internship

Kayser & Company is hiring for the position of Associate with 2-5 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, file, and prosecute trademark, copyright, and design applications before the Trade Marks Registry, Copyright Office, and Patent Office.
• Prepare and file responses to examination reports, oppositions, rectifications, and appeals.
• Conduct IP searches, due diligence, and legal opinions.
• Maintain and update docketing records, deadlines, and prosecution reports.

Eligibility

• Strong knowledge of trademark and copyright laws (with exposure to patent and design laws).
• Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments with precision and tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills (written & verbal) for client interaction and regulatory correspondence.
• Proficiency in IP databases and online filing systems.

Salary/Stipend
