Details of the Job/Internship
Kunal Khanna & Co. is hiring an Associate with 0–3 years of experience in IPR Litigation to join their office in Jangpura, New Delhi. The role involves handling counterfeit enforcement and digital infringement matters. Immediate joining is required.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and file plaints, written statements, injunctions, replies, and other pleadings in IP matters.
- Assist in counterfeit enforcement actions including preparing search and seizure requests, briefing Local Commissioners, and coordinating with enforcement agencies.
- Execute online brand protection through notice-and-takedown on e-commerce marketplaces, social media, and websites.
- Conduct legal research and case-law analysis, and prepare concise case notes and strategy briefs.
- Handle case follow-ups with clients, court staff, and registries, and maintain structured case files and evidence sets.
- Attend hearings, assist seniors/counsel, and support litigation strategy.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- 0–3 years of experience in IPR litigation preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in trademarks, copyright, and enforcement.
- Strong drafting and research skills.
- Detail-oriented and organized.
- Clear communication and teamwork abilities.
- Mandatory on-site presence.
