Details of the Job/Internship
Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys is hiring an Associate for its International Trade team in Delhi. The role involves briefing senior management, preparation and analysis of financial and cost data, drafting legal opinions and reports, and tracking legal developments in international trade.
Role and Responsibilities
- Brief senior management on matters handled.
- Prepare and analyze financial and cost data, and draft reports.
- Draft legal opinions, notes, and reports.
- Prepare presentations on international trade issues.
- Track and update legal developments in international trade.
Eligibility
- CA qualification (preferably 1st/2nd attempt).
- 0-1 year of post-qualification experience in Indirect Tax/Customs/Audit.
- Strong data analytical and quantitative analysis skills.
- Good legal drafting and research abilities.
- Proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of international trade agreements, tariffs, and customs procedures is preferred.
- Ability to work independently with ownership of assignments.
