Details of the Job/Internship
The Law Chambers of Apoorv Khator is hiring an Associate with experience of 2–3 years PQE to join their office in Defence Colony, New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage litigation matters across the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, NCLAT, and NCLT.
- Represent and assist in arbitration proceedings and related dispute resolution mechanisms.
- Draft various legal pleadings, applications, and litigation-related documents.
- Perform comprehensive legal research on procedural and substantive laws.
- Handle non-litigation work, including the drafting and vetting of commercial contracts.
- Coordinate with clients and senior counsel to prepare for court hearings and briefings.
- Ensure timely filings and compliance with court procedures across different forums.
Eligibility
- Experience: 2–3 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in litigation.
- Strong knowledge of procedural laws (CPC, CrPC, Evidence Act).
- Proven skills in legal research and the analysis of judicial precedents.
- Experience in drafting pleadings and vetting commercial agreements.
- Willingness to handle a diverse workload encompassing both litigation and advisory tasks.
- Based in or willing to relocate to New Delhi.
