Details of the Job/Internship

LawNK is hiring for the position of Associate with 2-3 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and provide legal advice on commercial and transactional documents across the Firm’s practice areas.
• Advise clients on regulatory, structural, procedural, and operational issues impacting their businesses.
• Identify and assess legal and compliance risks in connection with client operations.
• Conduct legal research and prepare well-reasoned legal opinions.
• Provide support in dispute resolution matters, including liaison with external counsel.
• Author legal content and articles relevant to the Firm’s areas of expertise.
• Contribute to projects at the Firm’s affiliate, Copyright Integrity International.
• Support the Firm’s pro bono initiatives and community-driven legal projects.
• Take ownership of additional assignments that align with the Firm’s strategic goals.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree (LL.B) or higher in Law.
• Experience in any three of the following sectors is preferred:
• Sports
• Gaming
• Media & Entertainment
• Intellectual Property Rights
• General Commercial & Corporate Law
• Technology
• Non-profits & CSR
• Healthcare
• Demonstrated attention to detail, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive matters.
• Ability to work independently while being a reliable team player.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey legal ideas to diverse audiences.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
