Details of the Job/Internship

Mason & Associates Advocates is hiring an Associate with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their Trademarks Prosecution team in New Delhi.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct trademark searches, filings, prosecutions, oppositions, and renewals.
• Draft contentious and non-contentious legal documents and correspondence.
• Coordinate with the Trademarks Registry and ensure compliance with deadlines.
• Represent clients at show cause hearings before the Trademarks Registry.
• Manage an independent portfolio of clients and provide trademark strategy advice.
• Ensure compliance with procedures under the Madrid Protocol.

Eligibility

• LL.B. from a reputed law school.
• 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in Trademark Prosecution.
• Sound knowledge of Indian trademark law and procedures under the Madrid Protocol.
• Proficiency in legal drafting, research, and communication.
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently.
• Familiarity with IP management tools/software is an added advantage.

Salary/Stipend
