Details of the Job/Internship
Maximus Legal® is hiring an Associate for a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and case analysis.
- Draft legal documents and review and vet contracts and agreements.
- Assist and participate in litigation, arbitration, and mediation proceedings.
- Represent clients before courts and tribunals as required.
- Manage legal documentation and case files.
- Conduct due diligence for civil, commercial, and intellectual property matters.
Eligibility
- Strong skills in legal research, case analysis, and drafting legal documents.
- Experience in drafting and vetting contracts, agreements, and legal documentation.
- Proficiency in litigation, arbitration, and mediation processes.
- Familiarity with intellectual property laws, due diligence procedures, and legal protocols for businesses and startups.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
- Bar membership and a recognised law degree are required.
- Experience before the Supreme Court of India, High Courts, District Courts, or Tribunals is an advantage.
