Details of the Job/Internship

Metalegal Advocates is hiring an Associate – General Corporate & Start-up Advisory with 2-4 years of experience to join their Bengaluru office. The role involves advising corporates and startups on legal, regulatory, and transactional issues, and working closely with founders, investors, and established businesses.

Role and Responsibilities

• Advise clients on corporate, commercial, technology, and regulatory laws.
• Assist startups with incorporation, fundraising, contracts, IP, and compliance.
• Draft and review contracts, agreements, and legal pleadings.
• Support clients through investigations, dispute resolution, and litigation.
• Conduct legal research and contribute to thought leadership through articles and white papers.

Eligibility

• LL.B from a recognized Indian university.
• 2-4 years PQE in General Corporate or Start-up Advisory.
• Strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
• Interest in startup law and corporate advisory.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
