Details of the Job/Internship

Metalegal Advocates is hiring an Associate with 3-4 years of experience to join them in Mumbai office. 

Role and Responsibilities

The engagement would primarily involve:

• Advising the clients on matters pertaining to Economic Offences.
• Providing legal counsel to clients on issues related to Economic Offences.
• Drafting and reviewing petitions, agreements, MoUs, appeals and other such related documents,
• Handling multiple case scenarios pertaining to Economic Offences.
• Handholding the clients through litigations, meditation proceedings, and/or general advisory (including drafting pleadings, replies, appeals, petitions etc. before various forums)
• Researching and writing articles/white papers, etc.
• There would be opportunities to represent the clients before various forums from time to time and based on experience in the case as well as law.

Eligibility

The candidate should be a qualified advocate (LLB), desirably having a PQE of 3-4 years, with a passion for learning and practicing a variety of laws, and good communication skills. 

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
