Metalegal Advocates is hiring an Associate (Fresher) to join their expanding practice in New Delhi.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist seniors in handling Income Tax, GST, and Customs litigation and advisory assignments.
• Support the drafting of legal replies, appeals, submissions, and detailed case documentation.
• Conduct in-depth legal research, case law analysis, and interpretation of tax statutes.
• Assist in tax filings and coordinate with departmental authorities and tribunals.
• Support the team during compliance reviews and the preparation of advisory notes.
• Contribute to the firm’s internal knowledge bank and research databases.

Eligibility

• Qualification: Must be a qualified Advocate (LL.B.) enrolled with the Bar Council of India OR a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Experience: 0 years (Fresh graduates/Newly qualified professionals).
• Strong interest in Direct Tax (Income Tax) and Indirect Tax (GST) practice.
• High learning orientation and proficiency in digital documentation tools.

Salary/Stipend
