Details of the Job/Internship

M.S. Bodhanwalla & Co. is hiring an Associate with 0–2 years of PQE to join its office in Mumbai. This is a full-time, on-site role. The Associate will handle legal drafting, research, and assist in matters relating to litigation, arbitration, and media and entertainment law, including both transactional and litigation work. The role also involves representing clients in court, preparing legal arguments, analyzing cases, and providing strategic guidance, while supporting Associates, Senior Associates, and Partners.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting legal documents, contracts, agreements, and related documentation.
• Conducting legal research and analyzing complex legal issues.
• Assisting in litigation, arbitration, and media and entertainment matters.
• Representing clients in courts and preparing legal arguments.
• Providing strategic guidance to clients.
• Supporting Associates, Senior Associates, and Partners in legal matters.

Eligibility

• 0–2 years’ PQE, preferably with demonstrable work experience and course credits aligned with the firm’s core practice areas.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex legal issues.
• Proficiency in legal drafting, including contracts, agreements, and litigation and arbitration documentation.
• Willingness to actively participate in litigation and arbitration proceedings, including court appearances and preparation of legal arguments.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• BLS, LL.B., or equivalent five-year dual degree from Government Law College, Mumbai, ILS Law College, Pune, or a top-tier NLU.
