Details of the Job/Internship

Nilesh Gala’s office is hiring an Associate – Litigation with 2–5 years of post-qualification experience to join their Mumbai office.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage civil, commercial, writ, and arbitration matters from inception to resolution.
• Draft, review, and finalize pleadings including writs, commercial suits, appeals, interim applications, affidavits, and written submissions.
• Conduct in-depth legal research and provide well-reasoned legal opinions.
• Appear before the Bombay High Court and other tribunals for hearings, motions, admissions, and interim relief matters (both physical and virtual).

Eligibility

• 2–5 years of post-qualification experience in litigation.
• Strong drafting, research, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage caseloads independently.
• Comfort with both in-person and virtual court proceedings.
