Details of the Job/Internship
NL Legal is hiring an Associate for a full-time hybrid role in Mumbai with some flexibility for remote work. The Associate will be responsible for legal research, drafting and reviewing contracts, providing regulatory and compliance advice, and representing clients in various legal matters. The role also involves client consultations, case preparations, and court appearances as required.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research.
- Draft and review contracts.
- Provide regulatory and compliance advice.
- Represent clients in legal matters.
- Assist in client consultations and case preparations.
- Appear in court as required.
- Collaborate with senior lawyers and team members.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) from a recognized institution.
- Membership of a Bar Council in India.
- Legal research and drafting skills.
- Experience in regulatory and compliance advisory.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in banking, finance, corporate law, or dispute resolution is advantageous.
