Details of the Job/Internship
Parakram Legal is seeking an Associate with 1–3 years' PQE to join their Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Advise clients on various matters under the Companies Act and Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA).
- Work actively on Venture Capital (VC) and Private Equity (PE) investment transactions.
- Assist in the execution of Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) from due diligence to closing.
- Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents and commercial contracts.
- Conduct detailed legal research on complex corporate and regulatory issues.
- Ensure high quality and precision in all outgoing correspondence and legal drafts.
- Manage regulatory filings and ensure compliance for corporate clients.
- Collaborate with the senior team to provide integrated legal and tax advice.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution.
- 1–3 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) in corporate law.
- Prior experience advising on Company Law, FEMA, and M&A/VC transactions is required.
- Must demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and extreme attention to detail.
- High reliability and a commitment to long-term career growth.
- Ability to work Offline (On-site) at the Mumbai office.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
