Details of the Job/Internship
PLR Chambers is hiring an Associate with at least 2 years of experience to join their offices in New Delhi and Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on inter-ministerial drafts, policy proposals, and regulatory models.
- Review and advise on Office Memoranda (OMs), circulars, guidelines, and SOPs.
- Draft provisions for legislation, delegated legislation, rules, and regulations.
- Support policy-linked litigation by preparing research notes, briefings, and draft affidavits.
- Coordinate with counsel in courts and manage timelines across multiple stakeholders.
- Assist in legal reviews related to Public Procurement and "Make in India" initiatives.
Eligibility
- LLB/LLM degree from a recognized law school.
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification work experience in a law firm.
- Ability to work autonomously while guided by partner instructions.
- Preference is given to candidates with Maritime Law qualifications or experience.
