Details of the Job/Internship
Priyanka Chaudhari & Associates is hiring an Associate to join their Media and Entertainment team, responsible for litigation, transaction work, content clearance, legal research, and client advisory across multiple practice areas.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle litigation (civil and criminal), pre-litigation, and dispute resolution across all practice areas including Media and Entertainment, Corporate Commercial, Real Estate, M&A, Music, Technology Law, Family Law, and Insurance Law.
- Work on transaction-related matters across PCA’s practice areas.
- Conduct production clearance and legal review of scripts and content for media clients.
- Create and update trackers and tools for client work.
- Conduct legal research and share updates on developments in the legal and media sectors.
Eligibility
- 2–3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) preferred.
- Prior experience in media and entertainment law, real estate, litigation, IP laws, corporate laws, and related areas.
- Knowledge of CPC, CrPC, IPC, IT Act, and Constitution of India.
- Experience with Indian film/media industry operations is preferred.
