The firm regularly advises clients on complex regulatory frameworks and assists them with licensing, regulatory investigations, inspections, and settlement proceedings.
Details of the Job/Internship
Regstreet Law Advisors is looking to hire an Associate to support its growing Financial Regulatory and Dispute Resolution practice.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist in advising clients on regulatory frameworks applicable to financial sector entities.
- Support registration and compliance of intermediaries such as Investment Advisers, Research Analysts, AIFs, FPIs, brokers, and portfolio managers.
- Conduct legal research on capital markets regulations and financial sector laws.
- Draft pleadings, regulatory submissions, legal opinions, and transactional documents.
- Assist in regulatory enforcement proceedings, investigations, and inspections.
- Support dispute resolution matters before regulatory and judicial forums.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams on regulatory compliance matters.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum 2+ years PQE in financial regulatory advisory or dispute resolution.
- Strong knowledge of capital markets regulations and financial sector compliance frameworks.
- Excellent drafting, research, and analytical skills.
