Details of the Job/Internship
Saga Legal is looking for a candidate for the position of Associate with 1 to 3 years of experience to join them at their office in Bangalore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements (NDAs, service/vendor/shareholder agreements, etc.).
- Assist in M&A transactions – due diligence, drafting and post-deal compliance/
- Advise clients on company law, FEMA, SEBI regulations and general commercial matters.
- Conduct legal research and draft opinions/advisories.
- Coordinate with clients, regulatory bodies and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure timely compliance and manage corporate filings and documentation.
Eligibility
- Strong knowledge of Indian corporate and commercial laws.
- Legal drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
- Professional communication and client-handling abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- LL.B. from a recognized law school.
- 1–3 years PQE in corporate law (law firm or in-house preferred).
- Preference will be given to candidates who can join at the earliest.
