Details of the Job/Internship
Secure Legal & Associates is hiring an Associate – International Arbitration with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Nariman Point, Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft Statements of Claim, Statements of Defence, memorials, and procedural applications before international tribunals such as SIAC, LCIA, and ICC.
- Manage arbitration procedures, timelines, disclosures, and compliance with procedural rules of international seats.
- Coordinate and brief Senior Advocates in India and King’s Counsel or Barristers in the UK and Singapore.
- Conduct detailed legal research on international construction law, FIDIC contracts, and jurisdictional issues.
- Act as a primary point of contact for corporate clients and provide regular updates and strategic advice.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a National Law University or an equivalent reputed institute.
- Enrollment with the Bar Council of India and AIBE qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in international arbitration seated in London or Singapore.
- Experience in construction delay analysis and technical expert evidence is preferred.
- LL.M. or recognized international certification in Construction Law is optional.
