Details of the Job/Internship
Shah Jain & Co. is hiring an Associate with relevant experience to join their office in Mumbai. The role involves assisting with trademark filings, oppositions, renewals, copyright protections, and patent filing procedures.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist with trademark filing, opposition, and renewals.
- Support copyright protection and patent filing processes.
- Draft legal documents, reports, and pleadings.
- Conduct legal research on intellectual property matters.
- Support IP litigation and enforcement activities.
- Manage client communication and ensure accurate handling of legal tasks.
Eligibility
- Proficiency in legal research and drafting for IP matters.
- Knowledge of trademark, copyright, and patent laws and filing procedures.
- Strong skills in legal documentation and drafting pleadings.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage caseloads, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency with legal research tools and standard office software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB or equivalent); specialization in IPR preferred.
