Details of the Job/Internship
Shri Nakoda and Company is hiring an Associate with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience to join their Litigation practice in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Independently appearing and arguing before courts, tribunals, quasi-judicial, and other forums.
- Drafting and reviewing pleadings, applications, legal notices, and written submissions, and conducting legal research.
- Managing client relationships, providing legal advice, and leading client meetings.
- Supervising junior associates and interns and reviewing their work.
- Overseeing end-to-end case management, including filings, timelines, and coordination.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of matters, orders, and correspondence.
Eligibility
- LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognised Indian law school or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of post-qualification litigation experience.
- Strong drafting and legal writing skills with attention to procedural detail.
- Experience handling matters across criminal, civil, matrimonial, consumer, insolvency, and real estate disputes.
- Familiarity with e-filing procedures across Delhi courts and tribunals.
- Strong understanding of legal principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Prior experience in a legal role is advantageous.
