Details of the Job/Internship
S&T Legal seeks a skilled Associate with 3-4 years of experience, well-versed in Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016, Companies Act 2013, and SARFAESI Act 2002.
Role and Responsibilities
As an Associate at S&T Legal, you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic legal team with a focus on Corporate Litigation, Corporate Advisory, Deal Advisory, Mergers and Acquisitions, Transaction Structuring, etc. Your responsibilities will include:
Legal Expertise: Leverage your 3-4 years of experience to provide comprehensive legal support, with a deep understanding of IBC 2016, Companies Act 2013, and SARFAESI Act 2002.
Court Appearance: Showcase your expertise by representing clients effectively in proceedings before the National Company Law Tribunal, Debt Recovery Tribunal, High Court
Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth legal research, analyze complex matters, and provide strategic insights to contribute to case strategy.
Document Drafting: Skillfully draft legal documents including petitions, reply, rejoinders and correspondences, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws.
Case Management: Efficiently manage case files, organize documents, and ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and offer strategic legal advice to achieve favourable outcomes.
Legal Analysis: Providing legal analysis and insights on complex matters
Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with the legal team, contributing your expertise to collaborative efforts and strategic decision-making.
Eligibility
Educational Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in law from a recognized institution.
Professional Experience:
- A minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in the legal field, with a focus on Corporate Litigation, Corporate Advisory, Deal Advisory, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Transaction Structuring.
Legal Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding and knowledge of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) 2016, Companies Act 2013, and Sarfesi Act.
Court Appearances:
- Demonstrated history of appearing before various courts of law, including but not limited to, the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT), and High Court.
Age Limit:
- The candidate should be between 28 and 35 years of age.
