Stellar Insolvency Professionals LLP is a leading insolvency and corporate advisory firm specializing in resolution processes under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), 2016.
Details of the Job/Internship
Stellar Insolvency Professionals LLP is hiring an Associate with at least 1 year of experience in IBC. The role involves supporting resolution processes, statutory compliance, legal documentation, and coordination with stakeholders in corporate insolvency and liquidation matters.
Role and Responsibilities
- Research on the Insolvency & Bankruptcy Code, 2016, and related NCLT, NCLAT, and Supreme Court orders.
- Assist the Resolution Professional (RP) in running CIRP, including coordination with CoC, CD, creditors, lawyers, valuers, and third-party vendors.
- Support resolution applicants in due diligence and assessment of resolution plans.
- Prepare timelines, SOPs, and documentation for CIRP, Voluntary Liquidation, Liquidation, and Fast Track Insolvency Process.
- Draft agendas, notices, and minutes for Committee of Creditors meetings.
- Prepare Invitations for Expression of Interest, Information Memorandums, Evaluation Matrices, and RFRPs.
- Collate and verify claims as per applicable law.
- Draft preliminary reports, asset memorandums, and progress reports in accordance with Liquidation Regulations.
- Draft, review, and vet agreements; maintain statutory books; liaise with government authorities.
- E-filing and filing of documents with authorities, preparing reports and agenda, and supporting finance and accounts functions.
Eligibility
- Company Secretary (CS) or Advocate / LL.B.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in IBC matters.
- Strong knowledge of corporate and statutory laws, insolvency regulations, and compliance procedures.
- Excellent drafting, reporting, and communication skills.
