Surana & Surana International Attorneys is hiring an Associate to join their office in Coimbatore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Providing legal counsel.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents.
- Representing clients during litigation and negotiations.
- Conducting thorough legal research.
- Contributing to dispute resolution.
- Overseeing compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Engaging in corporate advisory and transactional activities.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or higher education in a related legal field.
- Membership with the Bar Council of India is required.
- Proficiency in legal drafting, contract review, and negotiation.
- Strong legal research skills for analysing statutes, case laws, and precedents.
- Competence in dispute resolution, litigation procedures, and corporate legal advisory.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and meet strict deadlines.
- Prior experience in a law firm or corporate legal department is an advantage.
- Knowledge of South Indian legal frameworks is a plus.
