Details of the Job/Internship
BananaIP is hiring for the position of Junior Associate in the Trademark Department, based in Bangalore. Responsibilities include client communications, trademark filings, and collaboration with their IP Strategy team.

Role and Responsibilities
- Direct client communications.
- Trademark search, drafting of reports, and provision of opinions.
- Trademark and copyright filings in India.
- Preparation and submission of responses to Examination Reports, including addressing objections or irregularities.
- Collection and compilation of supporting evidence.
- Representation in show-cause hearings.
- Monitoring and reporting on opposition watches for published marks of similarity.
- Drafting and filing of notices of opposition/cancellation, counterstatements, and affidavits of evidence.
- Maintenance and updates of the internal project management tool.
- Collaboration with the IP Strategy team regarding trademark licenses, assignments, and IP disputes.
