Details of the Job/Internship
UnitedLex (Erstwhile iRunway) is looking for candidate for the position of Associate with 1 to 3 years of experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and meticulously quality check Non-Disclosure / Confidentiality Agreements, Information Security Agreements, and Vendor Contracts to meet our client's expectations.
- Engage in calls with our client and negotiation discussions with counterparties.
- Demonstrate exceptional professional judgment in negotiation and redlining, resolving initial disputes and escalating pertinent questions to the UnitedLex senior legal team for comprehensive support.
- Collaborate closely with the client's legal team to address issues and devise efficient negotiation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with client-vendor contract management requirements, balancing service, cost, quality, and risk mitigation.
- Foster and fortify robust working relationships with clients based on confidence, performance, accountability, and visibility.
- Maintain professional communication with vendors through daily emails and calls.
- Assist in implementing and communicating formal policies, processes, and procedures governing supplier contracts throughout their life cycle.
- Accurately track requests and demonstrate willingness to take on additional responsibilities as necessary.
Eligibility
- Graduates of law school.
- Possess 1-3 years of experience in contract negotiation and management.
- Sound business judgment, with the ability to anticipate and analyze the consequences of decisions/initiatives and understand the needs of the client.
- While not mandatory, familiarity with the healthcare sector is preferred due to the client's focus on healthcare solutions.
- Exceptional English verbal and written communication proficiency.
- May occasionally require flexibility to respond to after-hours requests as dictated by business needs.
- Must maintain a quiet working environment with a reliable broadband connection.
Salary/Stipend
