Details of the Job/Internship
UnitedLex is hiring an Associate for a Fixed-Term Hire (FTH) position in Haryana.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review legal documents against specific project protocols to determine relevance, privilege, and key issues.
- Conduct Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) in accordance with the UnitedLex Manual.
- Utilize eDiscovery tools to create persistent highlighting and advanced search strings.
- Provide structured verbal and written feedback to team members to improve assignment performance.
- Prepare and deliver productivity and quality metrics for leadership review.
- Draft entries for the "Client Decision Log" to capture nuanced legal interpretations during the review.
- Lead team huddles, share updates, and assist in training associates on evolving project protocols.
- Manage workflow and project updates, escalating substantive legal issues to managers when necessary.
- Validate team time entries and support departmental domain trainings
Eligibility
- Education: LL.B. or LL.M. from a recognized university.
- Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel is critical for metrics) and an understanding of legal fundamentals.
- Experience: While listed as a fresher-friendly role, an understanding of "Methods & Procedures" in document review is expected.
