Details of the Job/Internship
Unnam Law Firm is hiring an Associate with 2–3 years of experience in Criminal Law to join their office in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. The role involves working under partner supervision while managing files independently, handling drafting and pleadings in criminal matters, conducting legal research on evolving criminal statutes, and overseeing case files and court proceedings.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft petitions, counters, and written arguments for criminal matters across trial and appellate stages.
- Conduct independent legal research on complex legal issues, including new BNS/BNSS/BSA codes and earlier statutes.
- Manage case files and court proceedings with minimal supervision.
Eligibility
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in Criminal Law.
- Must be enrolled with the Bar Council for at least 3 years.
- Fluency in Telugu (reading, writing, and speaking) is mandatory.
- Self-driven with the ability to research and draft independently.
- Preference for graduates from National Law Schools; strong candidates from reputed universities will also be considered.
