Details of the Job/Internship
Vaish Associates Advocates is hiring an Associate – M&A & Litigation (Direct Tax) with experience of 2–3 years to join their office in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive legal research on direct tax and corporate law matters.
- Draft submissions, appeals, and handle assessment and appellate proceedings.
- Prepare detailed presentations outlining various structuring options for clients.
- Draft legal opinions and advisory notes on complex and contemporary direct tax issues.
- Ensure high-quality drafting of documentation for M&A and litigation-related matters.
- Use MS Office proficiently, with a strong focus on PowerPoint for impactful client presentations.
Eligibility
- 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Proven exposure to direct tax litigation and M&A transactions.
- Strong working knowledge of direct tax laws and corporate legal provisions.
- Chartered Accountant (CA).
- Law graduate from a reputed institute.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong presentation and documentation skills.
- Effective interpersonal and client-handling abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong professional network and relationship-building capabilities.
