Details of the Job/Internship
Vidhigya Associates, Advocates is hiring an Associate with fresher to 1 year of post-qualification experience for its M&A, Private Equity, and General Corporate team in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conducting legal research on the Companies Act, FEMA, FDI, ODI, SEBI regulations, and allied commercial laws.
- Assisting in legal due diligence exercises.
- Drafting, reviewing, and assisting in negotiations of transaction documents such as SPAs, SHAs, term sheets, and slump sale agreements.
- Drafting and vetting ancillary transaction documents, including NDAs, commercial contracts, and resolutions.
- Proofreading transaction documents for formatting, consistency, and cross-referencing.
- Supporting regulatory filings and compliance documentation.
- Assisting, as required, on select assignments with the Capital Markets team.
Eligibility
- Fresher to 1 year of post-qualification experience.
- Prior exposure to M&A, private equity, or general corporate work is an added advantage but not mandatory.
