Details of the Job/Internship

Virat Popat and Associates is hiring an Associate to join their office in Ahmedabad. This is a full-time, on-site role involving legal research, preparation of legal documents, drafting and reviewing agreements, and supporting case preparation for court hearings.

Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents.
• Draft and review agreements.
• Assist in case preparation for court hearings.
• Liaise with clients and interpret applicable laws.
• Attend court proceedings and provide legal support.
• Provide strategic legal advice.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to manage cases across various legal domains.

Eligibility

• Strong research, analytical, and drafting skills.
• Proficiency in interpreting legal statutes, preparing legal briefs, and conducting case assessments.
• Effective communication, client interaction, and interpersonal skills.
• Sound knowledge of Criminal, Civil, Revenue, and Constitutional law.
• Attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently.
• Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.
• Law degree from a recognised institution and a valid licence to practice law in India.
• Prior courtroom experience or internships in relevant legal domains are an advantage.
