Details of the Job/Internship

White & Brief is hiring an Associate with 1–2 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end litigation across civil, criminal, and arbitration matters.
• Assist in appearances before District Courts, High Courts, and various arbitral forums.
• Visit police stations and liaise with law enforcement authorities as required by the case.
• Draft and review pleadings, petitions, affidavits, and arbitration-related documents.
• Conduct in-depth legal research to assist in formulating case strategies and legal opinions.
• Coordinate with clients, senior counsel, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth case flow.
• Manage daily hearings, filings, and ensure all procedural compliance is met.
• Contribute to firm-wide knowledge-building initiatives and internal research.

Eligibility

• LL.B. degree from a recognized university and enrollment with the Bar Council of India.
• 1–2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in litigation.
• Exposure to civil, criminal, and/or arbitration matters is essential.
• Strong drafting, legal research, and developing advocacy skills.
• Proficiency in Marathi (spoken and written) is a key requirement for the Mumbai office.
• Professional, reliable, and a client-focused mindset.
• Ability to work proactively and take ownership of assigned tasks.
