Details of the Job/Internship

Qualys is hiring an Associate / Corporate Counsel with 3–5 years of Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) to join their team in Pune. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Commercial Contracting: Independently draft and negotiate outbound SaaS subscription agreements, SOWs, and order forms.
• Partner & Alliance Enablement: Support the legal architecture for technology alliances, resellers, distributors, and Managed Service Providers (MSPs).
• Go-to-Market Support: Advise on contractual structures for joint go-to-market initiatives and strategic partnerships.
• Risk Mitigation: Provide pragmatic legal guidance to balance deal closure with corporate risk appetite.
• Process Excellence: Drive scalability by developing standardized templates and negotiation playbooks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Finance, Product, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on contractual obligations.
• Governance: Manage the contract lifecycle and ensure all documentation meets global compliance standards.

Eligibility

• LLB (or equivalent) from a recognized university.
• 3–5 years of PQE, specifically within the technology, SaaS, or cybersecurity sectors.
• Experience: Proven track record of handling cross-border transactions and complex commercial agreements independently.
• Competencies: Strong commercial acumen, excellent drafting skills, and the ability to communicate legal risks to non-legal stakeholders.
• Availability: Comfortable working with global stakeholders across different time zones.
